Cancer. I never knew how awful that word was until I heard it from my sister...
"I have cancer." Chemo, radiation, and a masectomy later she was in
remission. She was "cured" for 4 1/2 yrs. Then in May of 2004 she got cancer
again. This time in her back. Non treatable, aggressive cancer. She fought,
and fought with every ounce of her being, but sadly in Sept. of 2005 my sister
lost her battle with cancer. She left behind a daughter, son, 2 sister, a
mother, and a brother. We all miss her so much, but it has become my life
mission to help find a cure for this awful disease. One day there will be a
cure, and I pray to God that I live long enough to see it.
